Both clubs, the competition, venue, date and kick-off are all read straight off the match report.
Leave unchecked for the full squads. A full build fans out to every player's stats page, so it takes a minute or two the first time; anything already scraped this week comes back instantly.
Off by default - checks each club's U21/U23 squad for anyone who's already played a competition the first team plays in, and adds them to the squad page. Adds real time: one extra page load per academy player checked.
Builds the sheet as it would have looked before kick-off: form and next fixtures, league table, head to head, appearances, goals, assists, milestones and the manager's record are all wound back to that date. Injuries, the research pack and preview stats are left out. Takes a little longer (reads the match reports played since).
One lookup feeds both: the sheet appears here as usual and the pack goes to the Research Pack tab. It uses that tab's settings (free sources only, dig for extras). The sheet never waits on a pack failure.
Off by default - pulls each player's Wikipedia lead paragraph as a suggested line under their note (a World Cup final winner, a transfer fee, a nickname - the kind of thing Transfermarkt's own data won't have). Shown separately, clearly marked unverified - never inserted as a stated fact, so read it and copy the good bit in yourself. Adds real time: one extra request per player.
Paste a Transfermarkt match report URL on the left, or fill in two club URLs by hand, then Build the sheet.
This page talks to a small helper running on your own Mac at 127.0.0.1:8877 - the status dot up top turns green once it's found. If it's staying red, open a Terminal, cd into helper/ and run python3 serve.py.
First time only: the helper's certificate needs accepting once. Open https://127.0.0.1:8877/health directly and click through the warning (Advanced → Proceed) - after that this page can reach it.
Searches recent news, transfer chatter and fan discussion for this club, then has Claude summarise the biggest current talking points. Costs a small amount on your own Firecrawl and Anthropic accounts each time - this is a deliberate, per-club check, not something that runs automatically.
Type a club name on the left and hit Check club news.
Needs both a Firecrawl and an Anthropic API key set in helper/secrets_config.py (or the equivalent environment variables) - see that file's own comments for where to get each one.
